Update: 10/30:The Oneida County Sheriff's Department has released the name of the man killed Tuesday morning in a traffic crash. The victim was identified as Larry D. Badgley of the Town of Schoepke. Deputies report a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old female left county highway "B" about 7:30 Tuesday morning and struck a tree. She called for help for her injuries and was later taken to the hospital. A second 9-1-1 call said a man allegedly had been struck by the vehicle and Badgley died from those injuries. The crash happened near Meister Stockley Road. The investigation into the crash continues.

Town of Schoepke--One person has died in a crash in the Oneida County Town of Schoepke near Pelican Lake.
The Oneida County Sheriff's Department reports the crash on county highway 'B' near Meister Stockley Road about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The 16 year old woman driving the vehicle said she went off the road and hit a tree and had head and foot injuries. She was taken to the hospital in Rhinelander.
The Sheriff's Department reports a second 9-1-1 caller said the driver allegedly struck an unidentified male. The male died of injuries sustained in the crash.
The male victim's name is not being released pending notification of family members.
