National Guard Offers Free COVID-19 Testing in Forest County

The National Guard is offering free drive-thru COVID-19 testing in Crandon on Saturday, September 19.

It’s being held at the Forest County Highway Department at 5350 County Highway W from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

It’s open to Wisconsin residents and is first come, first serve.

People are being asked to register ahead of time at https://register.covidconnect.wi.gov/en-US/.

The following is a break down of COVID-19 cases in this reigon as of Friday afternoon. 

Forest County is up to 190 cases. 81 of those are active.

Oneida County has passed the 300-case mark. There’s 307 total case.  54 of which are active.

Vilas County has 158 cases. 29 are active.

Lincoln County has had 125 people test positive. 30 are currently active.

Langlade County is at 118 cases. 28 are active.

Iron County, Wisconsin has 136 total cases.  19 are active.

Gogebic County has 140 cases. 4 are active.

Iron County, Michigan is at 57 cases. 35 are active.
