Flu shots will be available Thursday(11/5/2015) in Eagle River after several clinics in Vilas County.
The Public Health Department is sponsoring the shots Thursday in the morning and afternoon from their offices at 302 W. Pine Street. Assistant Director Laurel Dreger says they're hoping to find people who haven't yet gotten their shots...
"....we've spent the past few months going to the various townships in Vilas county and providing flu shots for the residents in various townships. We still have some(vaccine) left over so we wanted to do a 'shout out' to everybody to see if they need their flu shot for this season...."
No appointment is necessary. The cost is $25.00. The Health Department will bill Medicare Part "B", Medicaid and some Medicare replacements. The shots will be availabee from 9 a.m. until noon and 1 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
