Senator Johnson Hopes For Trade Agreement, Splits With President

U.S. Senator Ron Johnson split with the president in recent comments, telling a group of farmers they are not "over the hump." The Wisconsin Republican says it's important to reach a trade agreement.

President Trump has said farmers are starting to get past the troubles caused by tariffs.

Johnson contradicted that during a visit to Oshkosh last week, saying a new trade deal with Canada and Mexico -- plus an agreement with China -- would offer the most relief for American farmers.
