Justin Schroepfer a former Antigo resident, currently living in Rhinelander, died while attempting to save swimmers last Saturday in in Lake Superior near Marquette, Michigan. He was 24 years old.
He attended Peace Lutheran grade school, was a graduate of Antigo High School with the class of 2010 and attended the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point where he was recruited to play baseball. After two years at Stevens Point, he transferred to Northern Michigan University in Marquette where he received a bachelor degree in accounting in December, 2014.
Justin was currently employed at Wipfli CPA's & Consultants in Rhinelander.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 16 at 11 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Antigo.. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation is set for Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home in Antigo and Thursday morning at the church.
