Arrested Rhinelander Man Allegedly Helped Plan Hannah Miller's Death

Oneida County Sheriff's Office

New details have emerged about the man arrested in connection with last week’s homicide that left a 26-year-old Rhinelander woman dead by the side of a road.

Seth Wakefield was charged in the death of Hannah Miller.

According to the criminal complaint, Wakefield knew that his friend, Christopher Terrell Anderson, was planning to kill Miller.

The two rented a U-Haul and went on several surveillance trips together in preparation for the homicide.

In an interview with detectives, Wakefield said Anderson had planned for weeks to kill Miller and her parents.

Then, Anderson planned to flee with the couple’s shared child.

Miller was found dead by the side of River Bend Road after a 911 call to police.

She had been shot several times, minutes after being seen with Anderson.

The couple’s child and Miller’s parents are safe.

Anderson is still at large. Police have a warrant for his arrest.

Police found both of Miller’s cars in St. Paul, Minnesota earlier this week.

Anyone with information about Anderson is encouraged to call the Sheriff’s Department at 715-361-5201.
