Ardis Berghoff is a freelance writer and editor who lives in the Northwoods. She writes about business, the arts and culture for a living. She's also been an avid jazz fan ever since her dad played recordings of Dick Buckley's radio show for the family on Sunday afternoons when she was growing up.

Ardis has a bachelor's degree in English from Vassar College (Poughkeepsie, NY) and studied journalism at Northwestern University (Evanston, IL).
