Agriculture Meet A.I. (artificial intelligence) : Science on Tap-Minocqua event
Science on Tap returns and begins the 2021-2022 season with a discussion/conversation featuring Craig Rupp, co-founder and chief executive office of Sabanto, one of the first companies to implement self-driving tractors into practice. Craig grew up as a farm kid in central Iowa and, in Sabanto, he has found a natural connection between his agricultural background and his degrees in electrical engineering from Iowa State University and Illinois Institute of Technology. Craig uses cutting edge technology to improve efficiency, reduce costs and support sustainability in a variety of agricultural settings. Funding for Science on Tap – Minocqua is provided by a grant from the Brittingham Fund to the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Visit the Science on Tap website – scienceontapminocqua.org – for details on how to join and participate in this interactive event.
