The event must be open to the public and have a significant music, art, or cultural element. Good examples include concerts, live theatre, art shows, dances, educational or guest lectures, public parades, festivals, and workshops. Submission to the WXPR Community Calendar does not guarantee on-air announcements. Events must take place within the WXPR listening area.

Leadership Circle Events

At WXPR, Leadership Circle members are more than donors — they are partners in building the future of public radio in the Northwoods. Through annual giving of $1,000 or more, Leadership Circle members sustain trusted local news, inspiring music, and the connection that keeps our community informed and engaged.

Leadership Circle members receive invitations to special gatherings throughout the year — opportunities to connect more deeply with WXPR, meet fellow supporters, and experience the impact of their generosity firsthand.
