Science on Tap (SOT) – Minocqua welcomes cranberry season with Leslie Holland, Assistant Professor and Extension Specialist, UW-Madison, Department of Plant Pathology. Leslie’s research focuses on the diagnosis, biology and management of pathogens affecting fruit production in Wisconsin – specifically cranberry, apple, grape and other specialty fruit crops. Her program uses basic and applied research to address disease challenges of fruit production and translate these findings into practical information for stakeholders. Join us for this discussion of Wisconsin’s leading fruit crop. In 2021 Wisconsin is projected to lead the nation once again in cranberry production. It is the 27th consecutive year!
