The DNR announced it will refund fees to those who applied for a wolf harvest permit for last fall.
The $10 fee will be returned.
Wolf preference point records will also be reset to where they were prior to applications for the fall hunt, which did not take place following a court decision.
Wolves have now been returned to the Endangered Species List for most areas of the county.
That came in a federal court ruling February 10th.
Because of that ruling, DNR permits allowing landowners to use lethal means to deal with problem wolves are no longer valid.
Non-lethal tools are still available to the DNR.
The training of dogs to track and trail wolves is also no longer allowed.
