The Wildgrass Wingding is a benefit concert created by singer & songwriter Tuck Pence and bluegrass promoter Don "Wildman Wegner" to help raise funds for WXPR.

Wiley & Wilson
Pat Wiley and John Wilson are a duo that features original and traditional music in an "old time" style. Both Pat and John are multi-instrumentalists, vocalists, dance callers/teachers, and storytellers. Pat is the main songwriter of the two, while John provides buck dancing/clogging and other entertaining elements to the act. Together and apart, they have been making "rural" good music for over 40 years.

The Hand-Picked Bluegrass Band 
A high energy acoustic band playing everything from the traditional “high lonesome sound” of Bill Monroe’s Bluegrass Boys to the exciting sound of today’s progressive bluegrass groups – as well as their own original music.

Out of the Mire
We are comprised of 6 people. My two sons are 15 and 17 years old and a group of their friends started playing acoustic music together and they asked me to join them. I have played in another band for 25 years, and I've been around the block a bit. The instruments we play are as follows: Acoustic guitars, mandolin, banjo, dobro and bass. Different people lead songs, and we all try our hand at blending with vocal harmonies. I feel fortunate to be helping shape this young group into what it takes to make good music, and everyone is developing their specific skills in the group. Our styles stem from acoustic gospel music, old classic country music like Willie Nelson and Jonny Cash, to traditional and contemporary bluegrass like Ricky Skaggs, Del MCoury and Art Stevenson. I took all of the 5 teenage boys to a bluegrass festival in Rosholt Wi. last summer and that was a good influence for them. We all lead worship with our instruments at the different churches that we all attend in the area. Acoustic gospel bluegrass is something we will be playing on April 11th.
