One of the two motorcyclists injured in a crash last weekend north of Tomahawk has died.
The Oneida County Sheriff's Department reports 50-year-old Benjamin J. Guite, Sr. of Merrill died Wednesday at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. The second motorcyclist, 49 year old Lynette A. Haman of Elkhorn, Wisconsin was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Her condition was not released.
Deputies report the crash happened Friday night about 9:30 p.m. at Oneida county "L" and Prairie Rapids Road. Haman's motorcycle is said to have turned in front of Guite's northbound motorcyle.
The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office and Oneida County Medical Examiner are continuing their investigation into this crash.
