A judge has allowed a Lac du Flambeau teen a signature bond prior to his sentencing for allegedly trying to stab his mother's boyfriend.
17 year old Christian Soulier had entered a no contest plea to amended felony charges concerning a January incident at his mother's home in Forest county. Soulier's attorney asked for the signature bond so Soulier could live at his grandmother's home in Lac du Flambeau. Court records indicate District Attorney Charles Simino objected, but substitute Judge Fred Kawalsky granted the signature bond if Soulier stayed with his grandmother at all times.
Soulier initially faced attempted homicide and other charges. Those charges were amended in September and the attempted homicide charge was dropped in return for Soulier pleaded no contest to three felony charges. He's been in the Forest County jail on a $10,000 cash bond. He's scheduled to be sentenced next Tuesday.
