Pine Lake Man Honored For First Responder Work

Along with honoring the first responders of the year, the Wisconsin Assembly has approved a resolution recognizing October 28th, as First Responders Appreciation Day in Wisconsin.

A Town of Pine Lake, Oneida county,  first responder, Jim Javenkoski, was honored as the34th Assembly District First Responder of the Year.

Representative Rob Swearingen honored Javenkoski for his work as a member of the Pine Lake Fire Department.

Nearly 90 State Representatives awarded first responders of the year from their respective districts. After being recognized on the floor, first responders and their families attended a reception in the capitol.
