School Board Wants Public Input on New Rhinelander Superintendent

Superintendent Kelli Jacobi is retiring at the end of the current school year as leader of the School District of Rhinelander.

A consultant hired by the district to lead the search for the next Superintendent is opening the process up to include input from the public. School board member Duane Frey is heading up the search team locally and working with Bruce Miles of the Big River Group consultancy.

Frey says Miles put the quick survey together online...

"...Just a simple three questions...basically, what the community sees we do well, what we can improve on, what they're looking for in a new superintendent. The employees will also have the same information. We will be running an hour, hour-and-a-half meetings with employees and the the community so they can give verbal input...."

Frey says after input and meetings, they hope to hire the new superintendent by February. We have a link to the survey here.
