Florida Man To Be Charged After Nokomis Incident

The Oneida County Sheriff's Department reports a stabbing Sunday afternoon in the Town of Nokomis has led to the arrest of a Florica man.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Department investigated after the caller said he wasn't from this area and wanted to go home. He said there were several men coming to fight him in the area of Nokomis Park.

Later another caller said that his friend was allegedly stabbed twice with a three-inch blade. 34-year-old Robert H. Williams of Panama City was alleged to have stabbed a 28 year old Tomahawk man three times.

The Tomahawk man was taken to the hospital in Tomahawk.

Williams was taken to the Oneida County Jail.

Charges are being referred to the District Attorney's office including Endangering Safety, Aggravated Battery and Criminal Damage to Property.

Several other agencies also responded to the scene.
