pixnio.com

Seven people lost their home in a fire early Wednesday morning.

Tomahawk Fire responded to the house fire around just after midnight.

It was in the town of Skanawan.

By the time firefighters arrived the house was engulfed in flames.

The seven people who lived there were able to safely get out. No one was injured.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says the fire started in the attic.

One of the people woke to the sound of crackling and the smell of smoke.

That person got everyone outside and call 911.

Several fire departments and the American Red Cross responded to the fire.
