Freezing problems forced a change in how water is being handled in Antigo.
A notice on the City of Antigo website says water will bypass the Water Treatment Plant and be fed directly to the distribution system from the wells.
The change may continue for several months.
Water will not be softened.
Antigo advises residents that if their water is temporarily discolored, they should avoid using bleach or whiteners when doing laundry.
