Vilas county officials have released the name of the man who drowned on Big Sand Lake on August 28.
Officials say 48-year-old Eric Reese of Stoughton died of accidental drowning.
A call came into Vilas county dispatch August 29 of a boat on the shore of the lake with lights on, motor running and no one in the boat. B
ig Sand Lake is a 1400 acre lake located north of Phelps.
