A look at how climate change is affecting water quality and the lives of people who depend on it will be at the Eagle River Public Library Saturday.
Co-Director of the Food and Water Justice Project, Scott Edwards, will give an online presentation, followed by a question and answer session with the audience.
David Barnhill, who chairs the Northwoods Climate Action Network, says lake temperatures are rising faster than the air. That is leading to lower walleye populations, along with more invasive species. Food and Water Watch champions healthy food and clean watch.
Barnhill says those attending are encouraged to RSVP at northwoods.climate.action@gmail.com but an RSVP is not required to attend.
