NATH Celebrates 5th Anniversary of Frederick Place

Northwoods Alliance for Temporary Housing is celebrating the Frederick’s Place 5th anniversary this month with a community supported benefit. The Frederick Place has been providing emergency and temporary shelter for nearly 500 individuals since they opened their doors January 31, 2011. Director Tammy Modic says they operate on a $220,000 budget each year, but expects this year’s budget to be over $230,000. She says the benefit will be at Quality Inn in Rhinelander, and rely on the community’s support.

“…they can sponsor a table. We have a red table; table of 8 and that one is $500, but you get the 8 tickets you get the reserved table, $100 worth of raffle tickets and 8 chances at a special raffle that’s only for the sponsors. “

Other benefit packages include the “white” package for $300 featuring 4 dinner tickets and a $75 package of raffle tickets.  Individual tickets can be bought for $45. Different raffles include champagne, 50/50, basket raffle and a live auction. Prizes include an autographed Green Bay Packers Football, sleigh ride and dinner for 6, Eagle River Chain boat ride and a weekend stay at Holiday Acres.

The benefit is Saturday, February 6 at 5:30.
