To celebrate the love of household pets The Fix Is In Spay/ Neuter Clinic is hosting their 6th annual spay-ghetti dinner to raise funds needed to continue their operations. The Fix Is In provides affordable spay/neuter services to families in need. Spokesperson Karla Ortman says nearly eight million cats and dogs are housed in shelters each year, and as a result are euthanized when shelters can’t keep up. She says spaying and neutering is the only way to save animals lives.
“…our clinic has been in operation since July 2012 and in November of last year we did our surgery number 10,000 and we offer low cost high quality spay/neuter services throughout northern Wisconsin.”
Ortman says all proceeds will supplement the additional fees needed to keep their operations go such as equipment replacements.
The dinner is Tuesday, February 16 at Holiday Acres Resort from 5:30 to 7:30. Tickets are available at the Rhinelander and Minocqua Trigs. Individual ticket prices are $15 or $20 at the door. $10 for kids ages 4-10, kids 3 and under eat free. For more information call 715-550-7729.
