A house fire in Ironwood, Michigan sent one person to the hospital.
The Ironwood Public Safety Department responded to a call at 324 East Oak Street around 3:20 Tuesday morning.
When emergency responders’ arrived the fire had already spread through the first floor of the home.
Three people had been in the home when the fire ignited, but all were all able to escape. However, pets living in the home died in the fire.
The home is believed to be a total loss. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
