Knox Creek Heritage Center Completes Major Pavilion For Events

A Price County cultural center has finished a major addition for hosting events and celebrations.

The Knox Creek Heritage Center near Brantwood has several buildings preserving early settlement in southern Price County, which was largely Scandinavian.

It just completed a new indoor pavilion.

“We decided that we wanted to put a pavilion there so we could free up some space in one of our buildings for some additional displays,” said President Kevin Wolleman.

The pavilion will host the center’s annual Mid-Summer Celebration on June 27 if the COVID-19 pandemic subsides.

“I would just like to thank and show appreciation for everyone that’s helped make this possible. We’ve had a lot of monetary donations over the last six, seven years to make this dream come true. We’ve had a lot of volunteers come help with the construction and the planning and the execution of this whole project,” Wolleman said.

The Knox Creek Heritage Center hosts four major events each year.
