A motorcycle crash in eastern Marathon County killed the machine’s driver and hurt a passenger.
The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office got a call reporting the crash just after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. It happened on State Highway 29 east of County Road Y in the Town of Norrie. The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved.
As a result of the crash the operator died and the passenger sustained serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
