If interested in listing a house, or buying a forever home, now is the perfect time as home sales in the badger state are going up.

The coronavirus pandemic hurt the Real Estate Industry, along with many others. But recent sale activity has increased as more county health officials lift certain COVID-19 related restrictions.

The latest report from the Wisconsin Realtors Association found sales dropped 4.5 percent last month in comparison to last year. However, that drop is not as big as the 24.3 percent drop in May sales.

"It's a good time right now, I don't know if we've seen anything like it," said Jacob Mizgalski a Realtor for IdleKnot Property Group, eXp Realty. "There are more listings and tons of buyers, home sales have been going up and a lot of the home sales now are very much over asking we're seeing things $5,000 to 10,000 over asking.

As far as where the market will go from here, Jacob and other experts say it hard to tell.
