Crandon Police Warn To Watch For Counterfeit Money

Crandon Police Facebook

Police in Crandon warn they’ve been getting complaints about some funny money.

In a Facebook post, the Crandon Police Department says they’ve had numerous complaints of counterfeit $100 bills circulating in the area.  The bills have Chinese marks on the back. They are also said to feel very different from an actual $100 bill.

They ask people to be vigilant when receiving or exchanging money. If you come across a counterfeit bill, please contact law enforcement.
