Price County has announced its Register of Deeds Office will be closed until further notice due to COVID-19 protocol. They’re working on being able to provide services during the closure. The tentative reopen date is Monday, October 12, 2020.
Price County reminds people there is limited access to County buildings. The public is encouraged to call or email to see if their question or service can be provided remotely.
Also, Price County Public Health has received word a COVID-19 positive person was at Jack’s Corner Bar in Park Falls on September 26th and September 30th, while they were likely contagious. The health department hasn’t been able to determine all of the people who may have been exposed. They ask those who were at the bar on those days and develop symptoms to get tested.
