Oneida County Health Department Announces Evening Clinic

Oneida County Health Department will be hosting a late community flu clinic at the Oneida  County Health Department building located at 100 West Keenan Street, Rhinelander, on  November 17, 2020 from 4pm-7pm.  

Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends getting a seasonal flu vaccine  each year by the end of October. However, as long as flu viruses are circulating, vaccination  should continue throughout flu season, even into January or later. It may take up to 2 weeks for  after receiving the flu vaccine for individuals to be fully protected.  

Getting a flu vaccine is more important than ever in 2020-2021. It will help protect you, your  family and your community from the flu. During the COVID-19 pandemic, a flu vaccine can  help save medical resources for the care of COVID-19 patients. A flu vaccine is the best way to  protect yourself and your loved ones from the flu. 

Oneida County Health Department continues to have flu vaccine available for anyone aged 6  months and older. Flu vaccine for children 18 and under is FREE.  

Oneida County Health Department accepts several types of insurance for adults and has options  available for those without health insurance as well.
