Marshfield Police Facebook

More information has been released about the charges against Marshfield’s Chief of Police.

Rick Gramza was formally charged in Wood County Wednesday for accusations he sexually assaulted a co-worker.

The co-worker accuses Gramza of making unwanted sexual advances and contact with her over a four year period, including before he was elevated to chief.

Gramza maintains the incidents were consensual.

During the hearing he waived his right to a speedy trial and was released on a signature bond under the condition he have no contact with the victim.

He remains on leave from the department and will return to court for arraignment in January.
