Hi there, Jon Simonsen here, new board member. It’s hard to pick my favorite part of WXPR. Many days it’s morning coffee paired with news and local events. Then again, it’s hard to beat backyard campfires paired with great music. There’s more on my list of favorites too with the impressive amount of content developed by the staff and volunteers. I've grown to appreciate that WXPR is a rare commodity in this age of marketing algorithms and click-bait headlines. I’m excited to dive into this role to learn and to support the station’s mission.
