Gov. Evers Orders Ban On Gatherings of 50 Or More

On his Twitter account Governor Tony Evers has announced he's directing Department of Health Services Secretary-designee Andrea Palm to order a ban on mass gathering of 50 or more people.

Other Governors have taken this action to slow the spread of COVID-29, or coronavirus.

Evers says it's up to everyone to practice social distancing and take every possible step to mitigate the virus' spread. Gov.

Evers says critical infrastructure and services such as grocery stores, food pantries, childcare centers, pharmacies, and hospitals will be exempt from this order.
