Two months into 2021 and the Langlade County Sheriff’s Office says it has already handled dozens of methamphetamine-related cases.
Most recently, Thursday morning the Sheriff’s Office worked with the Antigo Police Department on a seizure.
Police say they found more than 31 grams of meth, 406.5 grams of marijuana, $800 in cash, and tools often used in selling drugs. The Sheriff’s Office said the drugs are valued at more than $11,000.
In a separate incident on February 12, the two law enforcement departments seized 17.06 grams of meth, 38 prescription medication capsules packaged to sell, and tools used to sell drugs. The street value of the meth was more than $1,700.
In a Facebook post, The Langlade County Sheriff’s Office said it will continue to take a strong stance against methamphetamine saying, “this dangerous drug has no place in our communities.”
