Let's Minocqua Asking For Feedback On Beef-A-Rama

Let's Minocqua Visitors Bureau + Chamber of Commerce.

The Let's Minocqua Visitor's Bureau and Chamber of Commerce is asking the public for input on this fall's annual Beef-A-Rama event.

The COVID-19 pandemic has left some questions that Executive Director Krystal Westfahl says she would like the public to help out. The event annually draws tens of thousands of visitors. Westfahl says they've been planning the event as usual, but they need up to 300 volunteers to help.......

"So we're just asking all the right questions and we're making sure we have everybody's input before we make a final decision. Right now we're talking about our logistical issues. We obviously have a great number of people that we move between different parking lots to get them to downtown Minocqua..."

Westfahl says they have high school students and local clubs do much of the volunteer work event day and their status is uncertain. She says they need to make a decision soon on the event and public input is being sought via text message...

"Chime in..Beef-A-Rama 2020..yes or no" It would be to text the word "North" to the number 36000, 36 and three zeroes and we'll push out a survey to that person..."

There's also more information at the Let's Minocqua Facebook page.

Westfahl says they need to hear from the public by the end of July.
