Rhinelander District Library Closed To Public

RDL.org

The Rhinelander District Library will be closed until further notice.  An announcement released by the library says the safety of patrons and employees is a priority, so the library board decided to close the library until further notice, effective March 17.  The closure will be reevaluated on April 3.

The library will be evaluating what limited services it may offer, if any, at its physical address.  Please do not return materials to the Rhinelander District Library at this time.  The drop boxes are  closed.  All materials checked out will have due dates extended.  Fines will be forgiven for items due during this time. Library cards set to expire in this period will also have their dates extended.

The Rhinelander District Library does offer many items electronically.  Downloadable e-books and audiobooks are available through the Wisconsin Public Library Consortium via Libby and Overdrive.  Badgerlink provides multiple reference resources.  Gale Courses are available for academic and self-improvement classes.   Virtual storytimes for children and adults—as well as other virtual concerts, theater, and tours will be linked on RDLs Facebook page.
