Feed Our Rural Kids is providing 20,000 meals to Northland Pines students this spring and summer. Memorial Day weekend the Eagle River-based non-profit is hosting an online concert with a goal of using up a large matching grant.

Feed Our Rural Kids was created to provide nutritional support to school-aged children from food insecure homes within the Northland Pines School District.
FORK is providing children just over 1000 meals a week.The cost of the first phase is $24,000. Pograndt says phase two will be a 1-month extension through June at a cost of $8,000.00. The concert will also help raise the money for two months of the FORK Cares program at a cost of almost $13,000.
