Ruby’s Pantry raises price by $2 due to increased transportation costs

Ruby's Pantry.org

Ruby’s Pantry is raising its price for the first time in eight years.

The pop-up food pantry is the third Tuesday of every month from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at National Guard Armory in Rhinelander. It’s run by Calvary Baptist Church.

People used to pay $20 for a bundle of food. There are no income requirements.

The price is now going up to $22.

The pantry said they had to raise the price because of the increased cost of transporting the food.

People are asked to bring the exact amount of money and two boxes to pick up the food.

Volunteers bring the food out to your car.

You can call 715-362-4792 for more information.
