The annual "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign has returned to law enforcement agencies across the Badger State.
The Wausau Police Department is reminding drivers of the dangers of driving while intoxicated. They recommend when in doubt, assign a designated driver.
"The rule of thumb is if you are having cocktails and there is someone who is not drinking best to have the person who is not drinking drive home." Nathan Pauls Patrol Lieutenant with the Wausau Police Department said.
With holiday events taking place, there are more drivers out on the road. The campaign aims to promote safe driving to Wisconsinites.
