A man suffered critical injuries in a shooting in Wausau.
The Wausau Police Department says it happened Sunday evening on the city’s west side.
Police were called to a residence in the 400 block of Lazy Creek Way at 5:40 p.m.
A 31-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound, and taken to a local medical facility.
The investigation is ongoing, but police say there is no indication of a threat to the public.
