Rhinelander School District Board of Education this week passed a budget for the 2015-16 school year.
Figures show the mill rate is $10.99 per $1,000 of Fair Market Value.If home is valued at $100,000, the owner will pay $1,099 to the school district. Superintendent Kelli Jacobi says the mill rate came in below what was expected....
"...the mill rate is going to stay the same at $10.99. So that's very good news. It's a little bit lower than we anticipated...."
Overall budget is just under $39 million. The total levy is $25.5 million. The Board also held it's annual meeting just prior to passing the budget.
