The Hodag Dome will be closed beginning Saturday, June 27th, running through July 19th

The district and community members celebrated the completion of the work at the middle school which was a large part of the overall project.

Participating in arts activities is proven to have a positive effect on a person’s mental wellbeing.ArtStart and the School District of Rhinelander paired up to help students discover this connection at a young age.

No evidence of suspicious individuals or activity was found.

Most students are headed back to school today.The School District of Rhinelander pushed the start back a week because of ongoing construction.

Voters approved a $26-million facilities referendum in April of 2024

The Dome was damaged in an ice storm earlier this spring, when the power went out and the dome partially deflated after a backup generator failed to come on

The dome collapse and got damaged on the way down following a power outage cause by Sunday’s ice storm.

The referendum will be for an additional $3-million per year in each of the next two school years

This month, Northwoods Community Elementary School in the Rhinelander school district was recognized by the U.S. News and World Report as one of the best elementary schools of 2024.
