Area legislators are hosting Joint Listening Sessions beginning Friday across t the Northwoods.
State Senator Tom Tiffany has scheduled six sessions with Assembly Representatives within the 12th State Senate District Friday, Monday and Tuesday.
Tiffany says with the new legislative session underway they want to hear from the public...
"...We really welcome the public to come out and share their thoughts and ideas, whether it's budget issues or concerns, that's what those listening sessions are for and we hope people turn out for those and we look forward to them. This coming Friday, next Monday and Tuesday...."
Senator Tiffany will appear with Representative Mary Felzkowski Friday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the Tomahawk Public Library on Lincoln Avenue. At 3:30 p.m. Tiffany and Felzkowski will will meet the public at the Antigo City Hall council chambers.
Monday, January 28th at 10:00 a.m. Tiffany will be with Representative Jeff Mursau at Gillett City Hall and at 2:00 p.m. they will be at Wausaukee Village Hall.
Later Monday, Tiffany will be with Representative Rob Swearingen at the Phelps Fire Hall on Town Hall Road in Phelps at 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m., Tiffany and Swearingen will meet the public in the lower level meeting room at the Rhinelander District Library on Stevens Street.
