A work zone crash on US 10 in Portage County has killed an Oneida County man.
The man was driving a Chevy Equinox eastbound near Amherst when he approached a construction zone that featured a single-lane closure.
According to the state patrol his vehicle struck a construction truck and trailer.
The 30-year-old from Harshaw died at the scene.
The driver of the construction equipment, a 26-year-old from Stevens Point, was not injured.
No further information has been released, officers are continuing to investigate.
The crash shut down eastbound traffic in the area for three hours on Thursday.
