The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public’s help finding David Strahota, 61, of Tomahawk.

Police say he was last heard from on November 17, 2021.

At that time, he told friends he was going hunting down south for a couple of weeks and asked a friend to take care of his animals while he was gone.

According to friends, David was vague about his exact location or who, if anyone, he would be with. One possible location may be the Fox Valley in eastern Wisconsin.

His friends say it’s not normal for him to be gone for such a long period of time. He does not have a cell phone and he left his vehicle at home.

David is described as 5’04” and 200 pounds.

Police say David’s house and property were searched with no leads as to where he might have gone.
