Additional COVID-19 Deaths in Forest and Marathon Counties

Forest County has recorded another death due to complications from COVID-19.  This is the seventh death reported in Forest County. 

In a Facebook Post, the Forest County Health Department extended sympathies to the family and friends of the person who died. 

The health department confirmed an additional 17 people diagnosed with novel coronavirus in Monday’s update, for a total of 342 cases.  59 of those cases are considered active, with four of them hospitalized.  The rest have been released from isolation.

The Marathon County Health Department confirmed two additional COVID-19 deaths Monday, bringing that county’s total to 17 deaths.  Marathon County has seen 1,924 confirmed cases.  1,042 of those considered to be recovered.
