A former Marshfield teen is the subject of a multi-state man hunt that starts in the southeast.
Police say they've been told to be on the lookout for 16-year-old Wayatt Canon, who family members say stole a handgun and ammo before taking off in a blue Jeep- possibly headed towards Marshfield.
Family members add that he does require medication to control a mental health condition, but that he hasn't been taking the pills and left them behind.
Because of that police say if you see him you should call 911 immediately, and do not approach him.
Authorities in the Dakotas and Minnesota have also been put on alert, Canon has family there as well.
