I grew up listening to Classical music on the radio in Chicago (WFMT and (old) WNIB). Beautiful music and the stories behind it. I try, in my small way, to emulate those broadcasts at WXPR. I never believed I would have the chance. I occasionally host WXPR’s Midday Classics and Classics By Request shows.

My wife, Jane Trotter, and I live in Harshaw.

I love the station for what it is and what it could be. I am most interested in WXPR's potential for local, in-depth news coverage, as a unique benefit to our listeners and as insurance for the station's long-term viability.
