A Lincoln county supervisor has announced his candidacy for state Assembly.
Calvin Callahan announced his candidacy for state Assembly Tuesday as a Republican.
Current 35th District representative Mary Felzkowski announced her candidacy Monday for the 12th State Senate seat. Current state Senator Tom Tiffany announced he wasn't running for that post again as he filed a non-candidacy notice, opening the door for Felzkowski's run.
District 35 includes Lincoln County and also includes parts of Oneida, Langlade, Shawano and Marathon counties.
Callahan also serves on the board of the Town of Wilson and owns a business called Callahan Wholesale.
