The snow is finally melting, and the Rhinelander Chamber of Commerce is hosting their first major event of the year this Saturday: the Hodag Home Show.
Event and Program Coordinator Evan Verploegh says people hoping to improve their property will have much to see...
"We always look forward to the Home Show every year. It gives people around the Rhinelander area to come and meet construction companies, landscaping companies, anything that gets you in the mood for spring and get your home up to shape. You get to meet with these companies face-to-face and find out a little more what they have to offer...."
Verploegh says it's is the first home show in the Northwoods this season. He says vendonrs include construction companies, plumbing and heating, landscaping firms, financial services and more businesses in the Northwoods... "
"....In the days of the internet you can spend a lot of time surfing around. But to be able to meet with people in person, up close and face-to-face is what makes the Home Show really valuable. "
Other vendors include a dock company, cleaning companies, health and wellness, electrical firms and others.
The show is Saturday, March 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Rhinelander High School.
